Oil and protein factory Bioprotein from Obrenovac was formed in 1964. It operates independently after separation from the company "Uljarica". After privatization in 2003, the Company is registered as a limited company whose majority owner of Bankom, Belgrade.
The basic activity of Bioprotein is a soya-processing and production of protein-rich products for human (low and full-fat soybean powder, moderate or completely toasted soybean powder, ensyme active soybean powder) and animal nutrition (low fat soybean meal, yeast protein feeds, milk replacers for young animals, and herbal protein concentrates. Also important is production of soybean oil.
